Drivers Age and Driver License Requirements

The minimum age for renters on all car categories is 21 years old.
The maximum renters' age for all car categories is 73 years old.

For young drivers from 18 to 24 years additional fee of 6,00 euro/day is applicable.

A valid Driving license is required.

An international Driving license for Non EU citizens.

A valid passport or ID may be required (if its written in Roman Alphabet)

When collecting a car from our car rental supplier the principal driver & any additional drivers will need to provide a full driving license in their name

In time that the counter is closed, we will need an notification about the Pick up or Drop off time.

Out of Hours

25 euro for the bookings out of opening hours .

GRACE PERIOD will be reduced to 30 min out of the opening hours and for the delayes in pick up after working hours a fee of 25 euros will be applied

Fuel Policy

All vehicles are supplied with a full to full or same to same (fuel in the car should be on the same condition as the customer receives )

The customer will be charged for the missing fuel Diesel 2,00 euro per liter + 15.00 euro service fee Petrol 2.2 euro per liter + 15 euro service fee and no refunds for the unused fuel are given For the refueling mistakes the customer will be charged 500 euro (VAT included)

Other options & fees
Please note that charges made at the location for any extras or fees will be a subject to any applicable sales taxes & location taxes/fees

Insurance

All Vehicles are provided

with CDW (Collision damage waiver) and TP (theft protection) in and outside N.MACEDONIA. TPL coverage is 20000 euro and PAI coverage is 400.000 euro.

Collision damage waiver

Full collision damage waiver and full theft waiver are included with an excess of between 450 Eur and 1200 Eur (except the rules above described in the paragraph “not included in the rental“.Please check the agreement before you take the rented car for exact exclusions and note that some options we can provide you locally in order to reduce your risk. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further information. All rates include VAT:

There is an opportunity to purchase a super insurance to minimize the excess

POLICE REPORTS ARE MANDATORY IN CASE OF ACCIDENT OR FOR ANY DAMAGE, SO AS RENTER TO BE COVERED BY THE INSURANCE.

Company reserves the right to hold invalid acquired insurance coverages if:

• there was present any gross negligence on behalf of the customer

• if customer takes car of road

• drives under the influence of drugs, alchohol

• if car was driven by unauthorized person.

• if the car's bodywork gets damaged, you're covered by the Collision Damage Waiver. This means that the most you'll pay towards repairs is the damage excess.

• If you damage ( windows, wheels,mirrors, interior or undercarriage ,or personal belonging) or the damage made by you is consequence of your negligence or being under drugs and alcohol influence ,you will pay the total value of the damage regardless the excess amount deposited . ( The damage should be charged for the exact amount of damage cost by the client)

Delivery or/and collection is always on request and availability of this service depends on the pick-up and drop of locations. Delivery/collection is always paid locally. Out of the city limits charges will apply depending on the distance.

CROSS BORDER RENTALS & TERRITORIAL RESTRICTIONS

CROSS BORDER RENTALS ARE ALLOWED TO DRIVE IN THESE EUROPEAN COUNTRIES: Albania ,Serbia ,Kosovo ,Bosnia , Croatia ,*Austria , *Belgium , *Czech Republic ,* Denmark, *Estonia, *Finland,* France, *Germany, *Greece , *Hungary , *Ireland , *Italy , *Latvia , *Lithuania , *Luxembourg ,* Malta, *Netherlands , *Poland , *Portugal , *Romania , *Slovakia , *Slovenia , *Spain , *Sweden , *United Kingdom * Restrictions and charges may apply (please check with the car rental agent on arrival).

A written permission issued from Q-RENT FRANCHISE

is mandatory to cross the borders. There is also an insurance fee that applies. This kind of rental must be requested at least 7 working days prior to pick up date. The charge is 35 EURO (VAT included)

-RENTAL GREEN CARD INSURANCE

Vehicle Group/Model

We are unable to guarantee a particular make, model or fuel type the car shown on your voucher is for guidance only and may be substituted for an alternative, similar or upgraded car (at no extra cost ). If at time of pick up, it becomes impossible to provide your booked car as shown on your voucher due to breakdown or an accident, a similar or upgraded car will be provided by the supplier

Condition of Vehicle

Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as picked-up/delivered. Excessive staining or internal damage will be charged for at the supplier's valet rates. It is your responsibility to check the vehicle thoroughly at pick-up/collection.

The car hire company will charge you if the car needs more than reasonable amount of cleaning after your rental.

Local deposit

A pre-authorization is required for the excess amount of the vehicle. If a pre-authorization is not left then the purchase of additional insurances is mandatory to reduce the excess on the vehicle to zero. If the excess is not reduced to zero a pre-authorization is required for the reduced excess amount.

Lost keys , plates or documents

The excess does not cover loss or badly damaged keys, loss of the documents , and car plates .
The rental car company will apply and admistration fee in case of loss the documents or the plates ,and the client is obligated to pay 15 additional rental days fee .

For the loss or badly damaged keys a specific charge will be applied depending on

car group from 250 -500 Euro .

Voucher

Your contract for Rental is between you and our car rental partner. The voucher supplied by Q-RENT FRANCHISE Cars is used to show that you have booked and paid-for the vehicle as shown on that voucher. If the booking is cancelled, the voucher is void. You must produce your voucher on arrival at rental counter.

Fines and penalties

You are responsible for the cost of any parking fines and other penalties incurred whilst the vehicle is contracted to you. The supplier or Surprice Cars will pass the relevant charges on to you plus any administrative expenses.

Administration fee for ffines and penalties is 15 EUR (VAT included)

Administration fee for damages is 50 EUR (VAT included)

Breakdown assistance

In case that breakdown assistance is required (the customer cannot turn on the lights, doesn't know how to start the engine, Does not know how to use the gear bo x, battery dead because the customer forgot the lights on etc.etc. ) will be considered as a negligence and will be charged the cost is 1.2 euro / km

The car rental company will charge you depending on the car group that you have booked about the driving off roads from 150 to 300 euro (VAT included)

All Terms & Conditions and Prices are subject to change, while Local/Road taxes might change according to legislation.

Rental Counter Identification

Valid credit card and valid driver license have to be present at the time of pick up. It is your responsibility to check that these before travel as well as to check if your driver license is valid in the country you are traveling to. Visa and Mastercard credit cards accepted only.No prepaid, debit,, recharge or virtuar credit cards are not accepted.

Chinese UnionPay credit cards and AMEX are not acceptable.

Additional driver

3 EUR/day

You will be charged if the car needs more than reasonable amount of cleaning after returning the vehicle. Excessively dirty vehicles, (with sand, or seats with sea water marks) charges 70,00 euro - 120,00 euro

Smoking inside of cars is not allowed. Cleaning fee for smoking in the car 120,00 euro

Additional extras should be on request at the time of booking and paid for( directly at the car company at the time of pick up) with confirmation from the company.
